Apple plans to redesign the upcoming version of the iPhone SE

Apple intends to redesign the next generation of the iPhone SE, according to a report published by the MacRumors website, which serves as a source for company-related news.

The report indicates that the new design will depart from the traditional form resembling the iPhone 8, opting instead for a design similar to the iPhone 14.

According to leaked specifications, the iPhone SE 4 will rely on a modified structure from the iPhone 14, adopting a flat design with similar dimensions and an increase in the front screen area.

The phone will also abandon the Home button and fingerprint recognition feature.

Apple aims to reduce screen edges, add a top-notch to the display in a notch shape, and equip the phone with the Face ID facial recognition feature.

If these leaks are confirmed, this new design will be the primary change in the iPhone SE series since its launch in 2016.

It is expected that the iPhone SE 4 will come with a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and other reports suggest the possibility of adding another button resembling the action button found in the iPhone 15 Pro.

In addition, the release of the iPhone SE 4 is expected in 2025, and despite the lack of current information about the price, it is worth noting that the current iPhone SE starts at $430 USD.
